Ok, doing some more work with Lautrec. Based on his original 'Danseuse Adjusting her Dress'. Mine is quite different. I can't find his original anywhere online. Basically this was for an assignment where we had to alter a master drawing, not just in scale or medium but by adding, or subtracting some element, bringing it into a contemporary realm, etc... I've extended the narrative. Cheers :)

Note: I've lost some detail in this photograph unfortunately, also lines in the background are not that prevalent in actuality, there's some graphite there and having trouble avoiding a glare.

looks good, you sorta got a figure there to the left, you gonna work on more?
kinda reminds me of Degas.
Thank you. I think I'm done with it, I'm going to leave the figure on the left sort of partial, a suggestion I suppose. Cheers :)

My god. I love what you've done with it. And the partial figure next to her adds a whole new story. Beautiful.
Thanks

I love the arm of the girl not entirely finished. Having not seen the original I think I can be a little objective. I like the look that the girl was moving and then came to a stop at the end of the picture.

Jeez I've been analizing photography for too long, I keep thinking, wow, she's so not using the rule of thirds here and then I'm like... wait... it's not a photo... right.

The last of Barrett's Privateers!
that's I like really much... couldn't say why, but... I like it so much
